Login in can be done by using your social media accounts like Twitter or Facebook or by entering a valid email address. On the home page you can enter your long URL by copy/paste. Afterwards Bitly automatically generates a shortened version. This new version can directly be shared on your connected social media. Besides that the new version can easily be added to any digital document.
When a real estate agency is active on social media, bit.ly allows your followers/fans to quickly and conveniently share it with their followers/fans. Using this channel you can share a new home or apartment directly online.
In my opinion, the biggest advantage of this tool are the stats provide by bit.ly. At the top in the navigation bar, can click on stats to see how many people have clicked on your link, from which country these people come and through which social media platform they clicked. The presented data is obviously not as extensive as Google Analytics, but you can still see the reach of your link.
